AppWriter provides assistance in your reading and writing tasks by using features like context-based word suggestions, text-to-speech, OCR scanning, plus a nifty pdf reader.
OCR means Optical Character Recognition. AppWriter's ocr scanner allows you to use your phone camera to take a picture of text from a variety of sources - signs, books, tickets - so that the machine can read it aloud for you.
The program's context-based predictive text allows you to obtain the most reliable suggestions to help with spelling accuracy.
You can further enable an assortment of reading options while writing. You can do it for each word, or for sentences.
